True Path To Ground Monitoring
The Sentinel doesn’t just monitor your wrist strap, it transforms it into a sensor, monitoring your grounding condition as you interact with your local environment. It is capable of detecting ESD risk and safety hazards that may expose product and personnel.
Work Surface & ESD Mat Monitoring
No bench monitor is complete without monitoring the path to ground of your work surface. The Sentinel displays the actual resistance level of the work surface grounding path—allowing you to monitor the wear, and better understand the environment you are working in.
EOS & ESD Monitoring
Soldering irons and electronic drivers can inject over-voltage into ESDS, causing permanent and costly damage to your product. Same for POE and battery powered electronics. Two Circuit Intrusion Monitoring ports (CIM), are designed to detect over-voltage on assemblies and voltage build-up on tools.
Hard Ground Detection
Inside your EPA, hard ground exposes operators to unsafe grounding conditions. Carts, benches, shelves and metal chassis are a source of operator grounding faults. The Sentinel detects when operators short to ground, triggering an audible alert and visual warning on the display.
Operator Park, Presence & Tamper Monitoring
The Sentinel is an intelligence ESD monitoring system. It can detect if the your ESD wrist strap is engaged or disengaged. Tamper detection monitors if the remote is connected or disconnected. And the park feature allows you to conveniently store your ESD wrist strap during break periods.
