Keeping ESDS assemblies and operators more safe
The GroundHog is an intelligent common point ground that monitors AC receptacles, detects and intercepts electrical faults that could harm you or damage assemblies, and disengages from the Equipment Grounding Conductor—keeping you isolated from the hazard while still equipotential bonded with your work area.

Ground Safely With Electrical Hazard Monitoring
The Equipment Grounding Conductor (EGC) is central to every ESD Protected Area. With all grounds leading back to the EGC, its low impedance is important. And, the electrical system as a whole is without fault. The GroundHog continuously monitors the electrical receptacle and alerts when it detects upstream, and downstream hazards.
GHI - Grounding Hazard Intercept
The GroundHog’s patent pending circuit design terminates its connect to ground when faults are detected. This isolates the work area from the electrical hazard at the receptacle, maintaining equalized electrical potential for uninterupted handling of ESD susceptible items.

One ground to rule them all

Verify Your Complete Grounding System
The GroundHog helps you effortlessly verify ground conductors from your technical elements (benches, ESD mats, shelving) thanks to the built-in Audit Verification Ground (AVG) port. With a single probe, you can verify continuity of equipment around your work area in a snap.
All The Ground Points You’ll Ever Need
Two aluminum grounding blocks supply 22 terminals for over 40 ground terminations. When you use it as a common point ground, the GroundHog Monitor provides 12 - 4mm banana type connections, as well as 10 screw type for bare wire and ring terminal connections.
Chroma-Resistance Display
Illuminated Indicator
You can visualize receptacle impedance and grounding continuity measurements across a chromatic scale. As receptacle impedance rises, measured up to 20k Ohms, the GroundHogs illuminated indicator will begin to shift from Blue (good) to Red (failing). When verifying grounding with the AVG feature, measured up to 140k Ohms, the chromatic scale shift from Green (low resistance) to Yellow (high resistance) and Blue (>140k Ohms).

Stay Safe. Stay Alert.

Audible Alarm
In addition to disengaging the grounding blocks from unsafe outlets, the GroundHog helps you easily identify problems at the point of ground—thanks to its audible alarm and large multicolored LED light.
